ในประโยคนี้คำว่า "said" ใช้ผิดรูป/ผิดหลัก ต้องเปลี่ยนเป็น "told" จึงจะถูกต้องตามไวยากรณ์ เหตุผลทางไวยากรณ์: tell + คน, say + สิ่งที่พูด เคล็ดลับจำง่าย ๆ: tell me/him/her vs say that... คำที่สับสน (confusing words) เช่นคำที่ออกเสียงหรือสะกดคล้ายกันแต่ความหมายต่างกัน เป็นกับดักที่ต้องดูบริบทของประโยคให้ดีก่อนเลือกใช้
